We Are Called

Each year we begin anew with so many things that we do on a daily basis – work, school, family and all the daily activities that make our lives meaningful. We are called to be so many things to others around us, aren’t we? Called to be parents, employees, students, husbands and wives. I am called to be your Pastor too!

But maybe this year we can spend a bit more time listening to what Jesus is calling US to be. What does He want for us? How are we called to be His disciples on earth? I hope we hear God’s voice in our lives and in our hearts this coming year.

We also begin a new year for our Pastoral Services Appeal campaign to continue our mission of paying off our current $1 million dollar loan on our incredible Family & Youth Center. To see the countless hundreds being fed and served through our Christian Service or our school children using our new gym for assemblies or sports is a dream come true. We also thank our young adults who give us inspiration in how they continue to grow our faith in our Youth Ministry activities a blessing to which we should all be proud.

We Are Called

We are also called to support our Bishop Tod and the numerous ministries supported by the PSA on the diocesan level, which no one parish could accomplish alone. Please pray for our PSA success. I ask that you also pray that your pledge, however small or large, will be part of what you are called to do for our parish and community. May the Lord’s blessing be with you each and every day!
